Meet Sara
Growing up just a short 50 minutes outside of New York City, Sara was lucky enough to have the heart of theater at her doorstep. Ever since she was six years old when she saw The Lion King on Broadway and proclaimed "I wanna do that!" she took every opportunity she could to take lessons and classes from industry professionals, and spent most evenings rehearsing one show or another.
Sara’s love only grew stronger as she got older, and she is currently working towards a BFA in Musical Theater at The Hartt School in Hartford, Connecticut. In her time at school, her love for theater has blossomed beyond musicals and into classical theater and straight plays. When she graduates in May of 2018 she hopes to keep her passion alive by pursuing a varied career where she can try a bit of everything!
During her summers Sara has had a variety of exciting opportunities. She worked at The Monomoy Theater on Cape Cod, where she got to play a multitude of roles. As a huge Jane Austen fan, the highlight of her summer was playing Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice. Last summer, Sara spent her time in beautiful Oregon obtaining a certification in the Meisner technique from renowned teacher Larry Silverberg.
Apart from performing, Sara has a deep love of the outdoors and when she isn't hard at work in a theater she can be found out on a hike or hitting the ski slopes!
